Plan Options

All students who are required to have a meal plan but did not sign up will automatically be assigned the Gold Flex Meal Plan. If a student would like to change to a different plan, they can log into their Housing Portal starting August 3, 2026, to select a different plan. More information about the cost and features of each option is attached and can also be found online: Meal Plan Sign-Up & Administration information || Meal Plans information.

Online changes through the Housing Portal will be allowed Monday, August 3rd – Sunday, August 16th, 2026 at 10:00 pm. After that, changes will only be accepted in-person at the Blugold Card Office (Davies Center, Room 110) between Monday, August 31st at 8:00am – Friday, September 4th at 4:00pm.

Changes made in-person may take approximately 3 business days to become effective. Therefore, if you know you want to change your meal plan, you are strongly encouraged to make the change online through your Housing Portal before August 16th. This will allow for more efficient billing and ease of use when the semester starts. Students are limited to one in-person meal plan change per semester. NO changes will be accepted after 4:00pm on September 4th, 2026.

Gold Flex Meal Plan Dine on upper or lower campus. The upper campus dining portion of this plan includes three visits a day to Riverview Café in Hilltop Center. The cafeteria is open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. in Riverview Cafe on upper campus. On lower campus, you will be able to choose one block (combo) meal per weekday. You will also get 50 Meal Plan Dollars per semester to spend at any of our campus dining locations.

Blue Meal Plan This plan offers two meals per day, which can be used on either upper or lower campus. You may use both meals on upper campus, both on lower campus, or one at each. Please note that lower campus dining locations are closed on weekends. You will also receive 50 Meal Plan Dollars per semester to spend at any campus dining location.

Flex 50 Plan

50 block meals and 50 Meal Plan Dollars to spend at any campus dining location. Unused Block Meals and Flex 50 Dollars expire at the end of the academic year. They do not roll over to future semesters. No refunds will be issued for unused blocks or Flex 50 Dollars. Purchase in the Blugold Card Services Office or online at e-Accounts. Last day to purchase this plan is Feb 28, 2027.

Diner's Club - Price Variable You choose the deposit amount. Dine at any campus location. Receive a 10% discount at The Dulany Inn in Davies Center and at Riverview Cafe in Hilltop.

For the Fall Semester 2026, the Bonus day will be the following:

-Tuesday, September 15. Members will get 10% of their money back. Minimum of $100 deposit

Please note that for Bonus Day, instead of physical gift cards, Blugold Dining gives you the credit back as a "gift card account balance" under one's university account.

If participating on Bonus Day, you can deposit money in person at the card office on 9/15/26 from 8 am - 4 pm, or online anytime until 11:59 pm to receive 10% back under your gift card account on e-accounts.

Please note: When checking out at any of our Dining locations, you will have to notify the cashier that you are using your gift card balance. Otherwise, it will be deducted from your Diner's Club balance.
